Too Cute

K this is kindof random but I thought it was too cute not to post. My nephew Sam is a little more than a year and a half. He and I have a special thing between us. I love him more than anything, and I'm pretty sure he feels the same. Ever since he was born, I've called him Bo Bo. Not sure why, I just do:) Well yesterday my sister called me to tell me what he had said. He is just learning to talk, so it's so everything he says is so cute. Leah was saying prayers with him before bedtime and she said something about " Uncle Brad and Aunt Liz". She said when he heard my name he giggled and looked up at her and said, "Bo Bo". She finished and started laughing, and asked him what Aunt Liz calls him, and he got all excited and said Bo Bo! I just thought it was so cute and I'm greatful he loves me:)

Ok, like the heading says BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!!!! :) I have been awful about blogging, but now that we're settled I will be much better! This picture is of our new house in Vegas! We love it here so far and LOVE the house. I will try this week to get the house all clean so I can post some pictures:) The rest of these pictures are of the day we moved:( It was super hard to say goodbye to our families and to the house. It's hard to shut that chapter in our lives, but we're excited for the new chapter that living here in Vegas is bound to bring. We miss our families like CRAZY but are greatful for the knowledge that we're where we are supposed to be at this time:)

We got a house!!!!!! :)

YEA!!!!! We found a house! It's in the exact area that we wanted to be in. There is a group of houses called the Orchards. All the streets are named after fruits. It's a group of houses that have a lot of LDS people in there, so I'm excited about that. Ever since we decided to move, I was hoping that we would luck out and find one in the Orchards. When we looked at houses over Memorial Day we didn't find anything in our price range, so I kinda had given up hope. I was so excited when Brad called me with a bunch of listings. I called and got Brad an appointment to go see one of the houses. He instantly fell in love with it, and so he turned in an application. We found out today that we got it! I'm so greatful that we were patient, and didn't just jump at the first house that came our way. We move this weekend, so the first time I see it will be when we're moving our stuff in:) I will post a bunch of pictures as soon as we get settled!

Update

Hey all! I know you have probably all stopoped looking at my blog altogether since I'm so crappy at posting lately. Lets just say things have been a bit nuts. As most of you already know we are moving to Las Vegas. Brad got a job offer from the same company he's been working for. He'll be doing the same work, except getting more money- which is always a plus. :) It was a hard decision, since both our families are here, and all our friends. It will be a huge adjustment but we know we're doing the right thing. So here's what's going on: Ever since we made the decision to go we have been looking for places to live down there with no luck. It's super hard house hunting from 7 hours away.Brad started work this week, so we decided he'd go down there and start work, while I stay here in Salt Lake and keep looking for places for us. We figure it'll be a lot easier since he'll be able to go look at the house, and the area himself. It's been hard to have faith, but we know the Lord has a special place for us down there:) So besides packing and dealing with swine flu (no fun) things are doing well for us. Brad is already loving his job down there. He has ridden along with another guy this week learning the route he will take over next week. He likes the people he's working with and feels really respected. He's working super long hours, but getting paid well, so I guess it all evens out. I look forward to getting settled down there so I can get going on my scentsy. That has definatly been put on hold while we're getting ready for the move. So thats the update on whats been going on! I'll be here probably another week or 2 so we can have time to find a place. When we do, Brad will fly home and we'll pack everything in a UHAUL and get ready to start a completely different life. It's scary and VERY out of my comfort zone, but I look forward to living in a completely different place, making new friends, and moving into a new ward. Thanks everyone for being such good friends and for being so supportive. I'll try to make this a fresh start, and blog MUCH more often!!!

Okay, I need to apologize to everyone for me being a slacker!!! Things have been busy- and I do have a post I'm working on from our trip to Vegas, but I've been putting it off since I know it's going to be a long one!:) Anyway, I'll be posting a LONG one soon!!!:)
