New Years Eve!

Our traditional new years eve party was at our house this year! We had so much fun! We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. I'm SO glad we called ahead! Apparently we weren't the only ones that decided not to cook for new years eve. We couldn't even walk in the door!:) After dinner we went back to our house and just played games and hung out. It was awesome! We have all hung out basically since high school, so I think it's so cool how close we all still are! I don't know what I'd do without these guys!

Christmas

Okay, I know, I know I'm almost two weeks late on posting about Christmas, but I decided to do one anyway. I need to learn how to do one of the slide shows- so I apologize in advance for all the pictures. Christmas is hands down the craziest time of the year, but also my absolute favorite time. We start out at Grandma Harper's house Christmas Eve, spend a few hours there, and then go to my parents. Growing up my dad always had to work on Christmas Day, so "Santa" would come around midnight and we would open all our presants, then go back to bed and wake up and play with all our new things. Over the years, the tradition stuck. We have all grown up and gotten married, but we've kept things the same. It works out well, because then we can spend the whole day Christmas Day with Brad's family! We look forward every year to this time we get to spend with our families:)

Every year my dad reads a letter that he wrote to us kids shortly after they had joined the church, when most of us weren't born yet. My mom put a book together of pictures, and christmas songs. It's one of my favorite traditions:)

Dancing with the stars

For those of you who know me well, you know I am a HUGE reality tv addict. My sweetheart of a husband surprised me and got me tickets to dancing with the stars for Christmas. We had so much fun. It was one of those experiences I'll never forget. It was so cool to see it live! I spent the day shopping for a new skirt, because I had heard we were supposed to dress up. We went to Jonny Carinos for dinner, and then headed to the E Center. We got there and everyone was in jeans. Aaah, O well:) It was fun to get dressed up and spend time with my hubby. Thanks babe for an amazing night!!!

Tony Braxton sang three different songs, so it felt like a mini concert too! So cool!:)

Night out!

This last weekend Brad and I went out to dinner with Stan and Kristie. We love those guys. We always have so much fun when we're together. Kristie wanted to get out one more time before Bailee is born. I feel so lucky that 2 of our very best friends are also in our family:) Love you two!

1. Where did you meet?

We met when he was a sophmore and I was in ninth grade. I was going out with one of his friends.

2. Do you remember what he/she was wearing?

I don't remember, but I assume he was wearing basketball shorts and a t-shirt (it's what he wears about 75% of the time:)

3. What was the first thought that went through your head when you met?

I remember thinking he seemed really nice, and I thought he was cute

4. Where was the first time you kissed this person?

We had just gone on a walk, and he had to leave for work so he was dropping me off at my apartment. He leaned in and kissed me:)

5. Where did you go on your first date?

My little brother was in a play that night, so we went to Carl's Jr. then went to the play.

6. How long did you know this person before you became a couple?

We'd known eachother for quite a few years, but we got together about 5 months after he got home from his mission

7. How did he/she ask you out?

Hmm, thats a hard one. We hung out every night for like 6 weeks, then we went to memory grove to listen to general conference, and he held my hand. So we never really dated before we were a couple.

8. Has this person ever proposed to you?

Yep:)

9. Do you and this person have kids together?

Not yet, unless you consider our dog and cat

10. Have you ever broken the law with this person?

Not that I can think of

11. When was the first time you realized you liked this person?

I think I always liked him, but the first time I really realized it was the first time he came to our apartment. He walked in, and my heart started pounding, and I broke out in hives:) I knew I was in trouble.

12. Do you get along with his/her family?

Yes, I do!

13. Do you trust this person?

Of course I do!

14. Do you see him/her as your partner in the future?

Yep, I get him for eternity:)

15. What is the best gift he/she ever gave you?

My wedding ring

16. What is the one thing that he/she does that gets on your nerves?

When I'm kinda cranky, or emotional he thinks it's hilarious to press my buttons and try to annoy me. When I'm already upset, it definately doesn't help:)

17. Where do you see eachother 15 years from now?

Hopefully in our dream house with 3 or 4 kids.

18. What causes the most arguments?

Honestly, both of us are pretty laid back, so we don't really ever argue

19. How long have you been together?

Almost 5 years

20. Are you married?

Yes, for almost 4 and a half years
